Agents Cite Two Slidell Residents for Red Snapper Violations in Plaquemines

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents cited two Slidell residents for alleged commercial red snapper violations occurring over a one-year span in Plaquemines Parish. Agents cited William Curry, 49, and Pamela Bertucci, 49, for four counts each of failing to maintain traceable records and failing to report commercial fish data.

_e US Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) recently accepted the Phoenix to Bohemia Reach C Levee back into the federal system (known as the P.L.84-99 Program), ensuring that the levee will provide the most e_cient protection possible and receive federal funding in the future. _is has been a major focus of the Plaquemines Parish Government (PPG) since parish president Keith Hinkley took o_ce back in January.
