Louisiana SPCA to Host Annual Vaccination Drive on Nov. 4

The Louisiana SPCA believes that every pet deserves Access to Veterinary Care. Several times a year, the Louisiana SPCA services its communities through providing low-cost vaccinations at 'Pop-Up' Vaccination drives in Plaquemines Parish and around the City of New Orleans.

Instep Credit Union Team Revamps Port Sulphur Park

Most financial institutions were closed for Columbus Day, but Instep Credit Union team members gathered for their first Development Day. This year, they wanted to give back to lower Plaquemines Parish. Instep Credit Union believes in the credit union movement, “People helping people.” The Instep team revamped the Port Sulphur Park with member, Brenda Hymes, and Gregory Wilson, and sent team members on a community scavenger hunt. They were able to mulch the playground and repaint the basketball court for children to have a brighter place to play. They are grateful for the opportunity to impact our lower parish and look forward to the future. See more photos on page 3.
