Belle Chasse resident Danica Ansardi has been named to the Board of Trustees for the United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area. As a trustee, Ansardi will be called upon to establish program standards and organizational policies.

“As this year’s Chair for the United Way of Greater New Orleans campaign, it has been my pleasure to work closely with Danica Ansardi throughout the year and to get to know her well,” states Barbara Turner-Windhurst, Chair for the United Way of GNO campaign. “I have tremendous respect for her work ethic and for her willingness to make every effort on behalf of those who cannot make those efforts for themselves. It has been said that we cannot touch a flower without impacting a star. Danica touches the stars every day through her willingness to touch the hearts of others. We at United Way are most grateful to have her presence on the Board of Directors.”
