On March 9, the Phoenix Spartan Boys Basketball team made their third appearance in the Final Four (Top 28) state tournament. 

The Spartans were unsuccessful at their attempt to capture a state championship by losing to Pleasant Hill High School.  But overall it was a great experience for the young Spartans after having a below (.500) season last year.  The team has taken a vow to return next season to complete some unfinshed business.  The team’s overall record this season was 23 wins-6 losses.
