The South Plaquemines High School football team lost Friday night, Dec. 3, in the final game of the playoffs – the game that would determine which team goes to the LHSAA State Farm Prep Classic Football State Championships – to Ouachita Christian School, 27-13.

“We just had some things that didn’t go our way, as a team and as a coaching staff,” said Damieon Mills, head coach of the South Plaquemines High School football team. “We wish we could have done something different, but it just didn’t go our way.”

Ouachita Christian School will go on to the finals in the Superdome against White Castle High School on Dec. 11 at 1 p.m.
