Kevin Costner presents oil spill clean up technology

An innovative centrifugal unit, which separates oil from water, was demonstrated last week for area officials. The company, which manufactures the unit, claims actor Kevin Costner as one of its investors. Costner was on hand and made the pitch to use the equipment to help clean up the BP oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. From left are Jefferson Parish Council Member John Young, Plaquemines President Billy Nungesser, St.Bernard President Craig Taffaro, CINC Industries Presdient Bret Sheldon and Costner.

Hooray for Kevin!! Another celebrity another big deal. Once it is decided where and who and how and how much and when and what not.
In the meantime, it is possible to clean the waters with product made from volcanic ash — This inexpensive, natural solution can be deployed over coastal waters. It adsorbs oil. Additionally, the material serves as a filter so should be included in the sand bar — in fact, the slurry that occurs from the ash and oil mix will eventually sink. Why couldn’t this collection be used to build the sand walls? Is there any chance anyone wants to explore this?
I am not a celebrity, but if this works, I could be!!
The fishermen and the local folks need to take charge of their own property. This is one way to employ locals — BP pays for materials and process. No time to waste. WHO IS IN COMMAND? Good luck. God bless. I have the research and 60,000 tons ready to go. Crop dusters get busy. Fishermen get paid to haul in the hydrocarbon/volcanic ash mixture that can be recycled. This is smart, simple and cheap. WE NEED TO EXPLORE IMMEDIATE SOLUTION. It is natural science. Look it up. Contact me. Joan Elliott http://cleanupthegulf.blogspot.com/
