Plaquemines Medical Center Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Replacement of the Plaquemines Medical Center

The Plaquemines Parish Hospital Service District Number One will join with members of the Port Sulphur community and local elected officials to celebrate the Groundbreaking of the Replacement of the Plaquemines Medical Center at 11 a.m. on July 25.

The original Plaquemines Medical Center facility was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. This new state of the art urgent care facility is the result of seven years work and will provide urgent care, primary care and occupational medicine services to the residents and industries of Plaquemines Parish.
