Phoenix High celebrates its First Alumni Career Day

Junior high and high school students had the opportunity to ask questions about careers available in Plaquemines Parish and the credentials necessary to hold these jobs. From college careers to highly skill trained, the presenters not only gave valuable information but they also motivated and encouraged students to do their best. It was a very successful event. Organizations supporting this event were: LA Oystermen Association, United Bulk Terminal, Stolthaven Terminals, Scents,Inc., Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Dept., Plaquemines Parish DA’s Office, D.J.’s One Stop, Plaquemines Parish EMT’s and Plaquemines Parish Government.
