On January 6 – 8, thirty OLPH CYO headed to Tickfaw State Park for the annual winter retreat.  The youth were spiritually guided by Fr. Gio Belanich, a Croatian priest from New Jersey, and Fr. Steve Bruno, Director of Vocations at the Archdiocese of New Orleans.  During the retreat, the CYO celebrated Mass, Reconciliation and Adoration, and enjoyed a bonfire, volleyball, games, sessions and nature.

The CYO will be welcoming new 8th graders and high school students on Sunday, January 29.  Everyone will gather for youth mass at 10:30 a.m. then fun, games, registration, and food in the school cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Registration forms can be found on the website: www.olphbc.org – CYO.  You do not need to be Catholic to join this dynamic youth group.  For more information contact Donna Smith at 394-0314.
