Rhett Orgeron, a senior at Belle Chasse High School, placed 6th in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s Class 4A Cross Country state meet, which was held at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. At the meet, he was also recognized and awarded for making the LHSAA Academic All-State Cross Country Composite Team. In addition, Rhett has been selected as a McDonald’s & WWL TV A+ Athlete scholar, and has recently taped his vignette with WWL’s Jim Henderson, which is scheduled to air in April. Rhett’s proud parents are Toddy & Missy Orgeron of Belle Chasse.
