Excited locals Tré Barnes and Taylor Bergeron, both 10, have Saints linebacker Troy Evans, #54, sign autographs. Evans and the rest of the world champion New Orleans Saints, including Coach Sean Payton, quarterback Drew Brees, running back Reggie Bush, and owners of the Saints, Tom Benson, his wife, Gayle, and his granddaughter Rita Benson LeBlanc, were in attendance to show support to Plaquemines residents who face an uncertain future due to BP's oil spill.

Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser, Governor Bobby Jindal, and LSU Football Coach Les Miles take a picture with Belle Chasse resident David Martin on his 50th birthday at Fort Jackson in Buras. Nungesser and Jindal took Coach Miles on a boat tour to see the Louisiana National Guard’s sandbagging operations at Pelican and Scofield Islands to contain oil off the coast of Plaquemines Parish.
