<title>Comment on Plaquemines residents demand action from BP, Coast Guard representatives at town hall meetings by hodieb khalifa</title>

<description>ACTION IS NEEDED ON THE PART OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE NOW

I&#039;m writing from Egypt.

The current BP containment cap has failed. Oil will continue gushing until August or beyond until the Relief Wells are drilled.

Trust me as an expert in the oil wells field, the following simple novel technique can instantly plug the well and make unnecessary the drilling of the Relief wells:

Plugging BP Well by a Long String of Cement-Filled Casing Pipes

BP has to lower into the wellbore through the Riser Pipe stub and the Blowout Preventer a string of 18&quot; Casing Pipes: a dozen pipes connected together, 500 ft long, after being filled with cement.

The wild well will instantly be plugged and there will be no need for the Relief Wells. Any annulus space between the Casing Pipe String and the well walls can be filled by pumping cement.

Now they have connected a string of 21&quot; pipes extending 5000 ft upward from the well head to the surface - What I&#039;m suggesting is to use a string of 18&quot; pipes connected together and filled with cement extending 500 ft down the well.

In the past two days I emailed this novel technique to BP, to President Obama, 40 US Senators &amp; Congressmen, Louisiana, Alabama and Florida Governors, but it seems that emailing isn&#039;t an effective means for relaying ideas.

Therefore I&#039;m asking you to help communicate this technique in person to BP and US officials - something I&#039;m incapable of doing from here in Egypt.

But, please make sure that the credit for this technique is attributed to HODIEB KHALIFA OF EGYPT – NOT TO BP!!

As for myself, I&#039;m Egyptian Engineer, 64, living in Cairo, Egypt, with long experience in oil fields and mechanical installations in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Italy and Germany.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND BLESS AMERICA DESPITE BP.

<description>Hooray for Kevin!! Another celebrity another big deal. Once it is decided where and who and how and how much and when and what not.
In the meantime, it is possible to clean the waters with product made from volcanic ash --- This inexpensive, natural solution can be deployed over coastal waters. It adsorbs oil. Additionally, the material serves as a filter so should be included in the sand bar -- in fact, the slurry that occurs from the ash and oil mix will eventually sink. Why couldn&#039;t this collection be used to build the sand walls? Is there any chance anyone wants to explore this?
I am not a celebrity, but if this works, I could be!!
The fishermen and the local folks need to take charge of their own property. This is one way to employ locals -- BP pays for materials and process. No time to waste. WHO IS IN COMMAND? Good luck. God bless. I have the research and 60,000 tons ready to go. Crop dusters get busy. Fishermen get paid to haul in the hydrocarbon/volcanic ash mixture that can be recycled. This is smart, simple and cheap. WE NEED TO EXPLORE IMMEDIATE SOLUTION. It is natural science. Look it up. Contact me. Joan Elliott http://cleanupthegulf.blogspot.com/</description>

		<description>Good Morning All,

Hello,

Please understand that I do not work for the company that makes the below product, nor am I in any way connected to them. While I realize you may already be aware of this product, nevertheless, on the outside chance you are not, I am forwarding the information. It would seem to be a near ideal solution for cleaning up the now contaminated marshlands and wetlands and estuaries. I cannot fathom or understand why no one is talking about using it to clean the now contaminated marshlands and wetlands.

OIL EATING MICROBES - OIL-REMEDIATION
BIO-AABSORB MICRO-N is a concentrated, dry blend of stabilized bacterial spores and micronutrients formulated for use in the degradation of petroleum based hydrocarbons. Remediate oil safely and clean up oil spills fast.

The link to the company’s web site for more information is:
