Plaquemines Parish School Board is proud to announce six of their graduates have successfully completed the pharmacy technician certification. The pharmacy technician program is one of the career technical education (CTE) pathways offered by the Plaquemines Parish School Board. CTE is a program of study that involves a multi-year sequence of courses which integrate core academics with occupational knowledge. The foundation of courses creates a pathway toward post-secondary education.
Taylor LaFrance, Jennifer McInelly, Shane Alonzo, Brianna Hebert, Alexus Landry, and Jaclyn Johnson have met all of the requirements needed in order to pursue employment within the medical field as pharmacy technicians. Ms. Tracey Graham is the instructor for the Belle Chasse High School Pharmacy Technician program.
