The Plaquemines Parish Government will hold a Public Meeting on Monday, September 30, 6:30 p.m. at the Belle Chasse Library for the purpose of public input on recovery projects for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
Plaquemines Parish has received a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the State’s Office of Community Development – Disaster Recovery Unit (OCD-DRU) in the amount of $16,953,000 to assist in addressing unmet needs resulting from damages caused by Hurricane Isaac in the areas of housing, economic development and infrastructure. The public is invited to suggest and comment on needed projects identified as eligible activities in the above mentioned areas prior to the projects being submitted to OCD-DRU.
