Donald Bert Armstrong, known resident of Baker, LA, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the age of 79. He was born October 13, 1934, Burwood, LA to the Late Clarence E. Armstrong and Hilda Armstrong of Plaquemines Parish. Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by his sisters, Alverna Armstrong and Marilyn Clark. He is survived by his loving children, a daughter, Cynthia Dianne Armstrong Budhisetiawan and husband Yunus, of Concord, N.C.; a son, Steven Charles Armstrong and wife Isabel, of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, Aaron Olson-Levi Budhisetiawan and wife Barbara, of Mars Hill, N. C.,Heather Lorraine-Levi Budhisetiawan, of Kernersville, N.C., Tracie Maria Armstrong-Naranjo and husband Yoel, Steven Donald Armstrong, both of Baton Rouge, and Kyle Austin-Levi Budhisetiawan, of Charlotte, N.C.; four great-grandchildren, Yoel Dariyen Naranjo, of Baton Rouge, Aaron Olso-Judah “A.J.” Budhisetiawan, of Mars Hill, Maxym Yani Naranjo and Juliana Grace Naranjo, both of Baton Rouge, LA. The family had a small intimate graveside service January 13, 2014 at which time Rev. Paul Brill officiated the service with Military Honors at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, LA.
