New Council Members Use Communication, Mutual Respect to Operate E_ciently

_e new Plaquemines Parish Government (PPG) council has been in ofce for a little over three months at this point, and in their time, much of the open con ct that used to dene council meetings in previous parish governments has disappeared. Under former governments, long contentious arguments over ordinances, resolutions, and maintenance work being performed throughout the parish were the norm—and typically resulted in hostile attitudes within PPG. _at old way of operating has given way to a much more cooperative spirit with this new council and administration.
