PPSB Denies two ITEP Applications, Introduces Possible ITEP Policy

At their June 5 monthly meeting, Plaquemines Parish School Board (PPSB) members unanimously denied two Industrial Tax Exemption Program (ITEP) applications being sought by Stolthaven, a company that operates a liquid storage facility on the eastbank. And, after denying these ITEPs, PPSB emphasized that this may not be the final decision made on them as, board members are establishing a standardized process to streamline the ITEP application process.
