On November 17, 2023, Belle Chasse High School hosted its annual event—Our Heros, Our Veterans. _is event was established 27 years ago to honor our serving and retired veterans and their service over the past few years. On this day, numerous veterans visited BCHS and talked to various students and faculty members about their experiences in the military, along with some erce challenges they faced.

Jury Returns Unanimous Guilty Verdict

Charles J. Ballay, District Attorney for the Parish of Plaquemines, reported that on November 30, 2023, Michael Cone, age 48, was found guilty by a jury of Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor. He was remanded to the custody of P.P.S.O., without bond, by The Honorable Judge Kevin D. Conner. Sentencing is set for December 5, 2023.
