There are countless jokes about the leaky Belle Chasse Tunnel. The Push Pole, a satirical magazine, published a story last summer with the title “Belle Chasse Hires Mexican Drug Cartel To Build New Tunnel.”
Established in 1985, the Plaquemines Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD), celebrated 30 years of helping people of Plaquemines Parish in conserving and protecting their natural resources.
For the first time in 10 years, residents of South Plaquemines will have access to dental care.
Last Thursday, the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office stopped by the Belle Chasse YMCA to speak with their Summer Campers about making the right choices in life.
