BC woman booked with falsely reporting car stolen

On Friday, June 27, 2014, the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office 1st District Patrol Division responded to the 100 block of Sigma Street in Belle Chasse in reference to an alleged auto theft. The complainant, Melissa Lynn Bond, 37, of 108Sigma Street, Apartment B, reported that between the hours of 7:00 p.m. on the evening of Thursday June 26, 2014 and 10:30 a.m. on the morning of Friday June 27, someone stole her black 2007 Ford Taurus from her residence. Bond told deputies that she did not give anyone permission to take or use the vehicle and believed that her ex- boyfriend may have stolen it. Deputies did not locate anyevidence suggesting forced entry.
