A public meeting will be held at the Belle Chasse Auditorium on June 12, 6 p.m., to discuss the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council’s Draft Initial Comprehensive Plan. The plan describes how portions of the Clean Water Act penalties related to the BP Oil Spill will be allocated.
The public will have the opportunity to provide input on the Draft Plan and the Council’s restoration planning efforts.
The 30-day formal public comment period for the Draft Plan and associated documents ends June 24.
