BCA Boys to Men group visits WII MuseumApr 1st, 2013 | By Jessica Gonzalez | Category: school news
Belle Chasse Academy’s Boys to Men group took a trip to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. The trip provided students with opportunities to learn how the United States forces composed of our citizens united together. These united groups of citizens defeated oppressive governments seeking to eliminate those freedoms some Americans take for granted. Additionally, the students viewed the Leadership of the Prisoners of War exhibit which detailed our soldiers persevering over the Nazi and Fascist captors by developing and executing plans for escape. Two of the focuses taught to the students in Boys to Men is how to become leaders and perseverance.
