PLENTY International is a nongovernmental relief and development organization that has a PLENTY~ Books to Kids Project. Books to Kids is a powerful project that puts books in the hands of kids. The books are given to the schools and the schools displays the books in order for students to choose the “just right book” to take home. Mr. Jim Selin, of PLENTY, has been delivering thousands of books to Boothville-Venice Elementary School for 5 years now.
The students look forward to his visits because they are able to build their home libraries and become better readers. On Jan. 19, Mr. Jim and volunteer, Mr. Kevin Curly delivered over a thousand books to BVES for the Books to Kids Project.
