Lauren Kellie Russo became the first Teen Orange Queen at the debut pageant held Sept. 11. Miss Russo is the daughter of Kenneth and Leslie Russo of Belle Chasse. The Belle Chasse High School sophomore is 15. She was selected from a group of 13 competitors for her beauty, poise and communication skills. Miss Russo will assist 2010 Orange Queen Jordan Gaudet promote Plaquemines Parish and the Orange Festival. The Orange Festival will return to its Southern Plaquemines roots in Fort Jackson on December 3-5.
