On Saturday, November 17, 2012 Our Lady of Perpetual Help CYO in Belle Chasse went to Ozanam Inn, a homeless shelter for men in New Orleans.  We all lended a helping hand at the shelter by assisting the workers in their daily chores.  The CYO split up into groups, the girls folded linens and pajamas while the boys made over 200 sandwiches.  Afterward, we rode a streetcar to and from O’Henry’s Restaurant for lunch.  The teens enjoyed this service event.  As a way of giving back to the community and appreciating our many blessings.
