First Lady Supriya Jindal visited First and Second grade classes at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, March 6 to introduce a new Promethean interactive whiteboard and Activote system.
“Interactive whiteboards are something we are beginning to see transform education across the country,” said Jindal in a press release.
Mrs. Jindal demonstrated the features of the board and Activote system in the form of a game she dubbed, “Jindal Jeopardy.” The school presented Mrs. Jindal with an OLPH cookbook to thank her for her visit.
The donation was on behalf of the Jindal Foundation, which has awarded interactive whiteboard systems to over 270 schools across the state.
