Casey Buie is on her way to becoming an ALL-AMERICAN again… and this time not in track and field but in volleyball.

Ms. Buie was recently named to the 1st team All-Region Team in NJCAA volleyball DIV III and nominated for All-American, which is pending following the results of the National Volleyball Championship in Rochester, MN November 11-12. Casey’s Fashion Institute of Technology Tiger volleyball team is 14-2 going into the playoffs which begin on Wednesday. She leads her team in hitting efficiency with 31.30% and leads her team in kills per set with 2.26. She is also currently ranked 34th of the top 50 for hitting efficiency in DIV III.

During F.I.T. homecoming in November, Casey will be officially presented with her National Champion ring which she earned in Track and Field last spring where she won 1st place in the High Jump and earned All-American honors.
