Why did you decide to run for Seafood Queen? I wanted to represent my parish. I love the Seafood Festival, and I love seafood!

What does it mean to you that you won? A year full of traveling to wonderful Louisiana festivals and meeting beautiful queens.

How will you promote the Seafood Festival? Telling any one who will listen about our delicious seafood and the rich heritage of our people.

After the BP oil spill, Louisiana seafood’s reputation took a hit. What do you say to people who question the quality of Plaquemines or Louisiana seafood?
